Cambodia
Cambodia is a kingdom and it is one of the poorest countries in the region. There was a regime of Khmer Rouge between years 1975 - 1979 which moved the country centuries backwards. People were executed for anything, includig wearing glasses. During that time, 1/4 of all inhabitants was killed.
