I have to do a bit of promotion when people keep confusing this country with Asia regions etc, right? :)
Czech Republic is located in the heart of Europe. Capital is Prague. Here are some interesting facts: in 2015 Czech Republic was ranked the 10th most peaceful country in the world. The word "robot" was invented and first used by Czech writer Karel Čapek in his novel. There are several more Czech inventions: contact lens, silon, genetics, blood types, sugar cubes (yeah :D), lightning rod, modern compass...
Historically, the Czech people have been characterised as "tolerant and even indifferent towards religion", only around 20% of Czech people believe in God. Czechs love meat, beer and jokes. In many pubs beer is actually cheaper than water! (this might be the reason why Czech Republic has the highest consumption of beer per person in the world). And one more interesting thing, this is the first music video, it was made in 1958.
