Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain, is in northeastern Tanzania. Approximately 38% of Tanzania's land area is set aside in protected areas for conservation. Tanzania has 16 national parks and if you ever watched any documentary about African wildlife, you have probably seen Tanzania's Serengeti plain.
