Cuba
Capital of Cuba is Havana. Before Fidel Castro's 1959 revolution, Cuba was one of the most advanced and successful countries in Latin America. Now every Cuban household has a ration book (known as libreta) entitling it to a monthly supply of food and other staples, which are provided at nominal cost. But things are changing slowly. Since 2010 Cubans are allowed to build their own houses and since 2011 it is legal to sell and buy private property.
