Greenland
Greenland (Kalaallit Nunaat in Greenlandic, which means "land of people") is the world's largest island, over three-quarters of which is covered by the only permanent ice sheet outside of Antarctica. It is also the least densely populated country. It is an autonomous country within the Danish Realm, which makes it politically belong to Europe, though geologically it belongs to America. Official language is Greenlandic (Kalaallisut), but most most people speak also Danish and also most signs are billingual. By the way, there is a great ski slope just next to the airport in Nuuk, capital of Greenland.
